Buzd — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Buzd turns football match events into distinct vibrations so you can follow a game without looking at your screen. This policy explains what data the app handles. In short: Buzd does not require an account and does not collect personal information.

What we don't collect

Buzd has no sign-up, no login, and no user profiles. We do not collect your name, email, contacts, location, photos, or any advertising identifiers. We do not track you across other apps or websites, and we do not sell data to anyone.

What stays on your device

The matches you follow, the vibration patterns you assign, any custom patterns you create, and your settings are stored only on your device. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes them.

Football data

To show fixtures and live match events, the app requests data from Buzd's own server, which in turn fetches it from third-party football data providers. These requests carry standard technical information such as your device's IP address, used only to deliver the response and protect the service from abuse. We do not use it to identify you, and we do not build a profile from it.

Notifications

If you allow notifications, Buzd may send a local reminder when you leave the app during a match, so you don't miss events. These notifications are generated on your device. You can turn them off any time in iOS Settings.

Children

Buzd is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy as the app develops. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date above.
